Armaan Malik

Armaan Malik was born on 22-07-1995 in Mumbai in the state of Maharashtra, India. He is an Indian Singer, Playback Singer & Musician who known for his singing in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, and Lollywood films.Since Armaan was born in a family of musician, he too was inclined towards music from a very young age. He took his musical lessons in classical Hindustani music from Rita Kaul and Qadir Ghulam Mustafa Khan. For his musical talent, he won himself a scholarship at Berklee College of Music in Boston and obtained his degree in Honours in Music from there. Prior to entering films, Armaan Malik sang for numerous television commercials, released his private albums and performed on reality shows. Besides playback singing, he also served as a voice actor for films like Slumdog Millionaire and My Name is Khan. He also participated in the reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs and was among the 10 finalists. He made his full-fledged singing debut by recording songs of Salman Khan’s film Jai Ho in 2014. Besides Hindi, he has also sung in various other regional languages. Some of the famous songs that he has sung are Tumhe Apna Banane Ka and Wajah Tum Ho from Hate Story 3 and Bol Do Na Zara from Azhar. In addition to singing, he has also composed music with his elder brother Amal Malik.

My childhood

Armaan Malik is born to Daboo Malik and Jyoti Malik in the city of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He grew up along with elder brother Amaal Malik. He did his higher education in honorary in Music from Berklee College of Music, Boston, Massachusetts. Famous music director Anu Malik is his uncle.

Early career years

Armaan Malik is a Youth icon of Indian industry: as he began singing at the age of 4. During the period, he learned singing from Rita Kaul and Qadir Mustafa Khan. Then in 2006, he made his first TV appearance from the singing reality show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs.Although he couldn’t win the competition, his journey for singing never stopped. He had an alternative option of opening the restaurant on contrary to singing. Then in 2008, he made his breakthrough from the song, Mere Buddy with Amitabh Bachchan.

First Album Release

Malik has dubbed for My Name Is Khan for the English boy and also lent voice for the character Salim in the radio version of Slumdog Millionaire for BBC Radio 1. In 2014, Armaan sang ‘Tumko Toh Aana Hi Tha’, ‘Love You Till The End (House Mix) and the ‘Title Track’ for Salman Khan's movie Jai Ho.[5] Apart from singing, Malik and his music composer brother Amaal Mallik also featured in the beginning of Jai Ho in the song ‘Love You Till The End'. In that year, he sang 'Naina' with Sona Mohapatra for the film Khoobsurat and 'Auliya' for Ungli.

Latest Life

He lent his voice for the movie Amavas, "Jab Se mera Dil" with Palak Muchhal for the movie Amavas, "Dil Me Ho Tum" for the movie Why Cheat India, "kyun rabba" for the movie Badla. The singer also got feature as a coach on an Indian reality show The voice and became the youngest coach/judge in the history of indian singing reality shows. He sang a song in De De Pyaar De composed by Amaal and lyrics by Kunaal Verma. The singer has also lent his voice for Mena Massoud as Aladdin ,in the Hindi version of the much awaited American musical fantasy-aladdin
